On the 70th anniversary of the founding of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, issued an important instruction and extended warm greetings to the vast number of cadres and staff of the national supply and marketing cooperative system, and expressed warm congratulations to the advanced collectives and individuals who were commended.
Xi Jinping pointed out that for 70 years, the supply and marketing cooperatives have always revolved around the central tasks of the Party, actively served the overall situation, and played a positive role in serving urban and rural residents, prospering the rural economy, contributing to the fight against poverty, increasing farmers' income, and promoting rural revitalization.
Xi Jinping emphasized that on the new journey of the new era, Party committees and governments at all levels should further strengthen their leadership and support for the work of supply and marketing cooperatives and make full use of this force.
