Hunan valin Wire&Cable Co.,Ltd is a state-owned shareholding enterprise jointly established in 2003 by Hunan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Xiangtan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., and 5 other units with the approval of the Hunan Provincial People's Government to revitalize the effective assets of the former Xiangtan Cable Factory. The company's predecessor was Xiangtan Cable Factory, the largest wire and cable enterprise in Central South China, founded in 1951.
The company actively innovates its corporate governance model, explores breakthroughs in its operating system, and relies on its own technological strength, financial strength, and brand influence to achieve leapfrog development, becoming a model enterprise in Hunan Province for promoting new industrialization. The company has consistently implemented the business policy of "Establishing a business with high-quality products and achieving high-end success", relying on high-quality products and services to have strong competitive advantages and brand influence in the industry. The company is one of the leading domestic manufacturers of special-purpose cables, and its products are widely used in aerospace, integrated equipment, rail transit and high-speed locomotives, mining, new energy, engineering equipment, data communication and other fields.
Located in Xiangtan High-tech Zone, the company enjoys a superior geographical location, with a well-planned and green factory area and an elegant environment. The company has first-class domestic process equipment and strong production capacity, a sound management system, an advanced quality control system, and complete testing equipment. In February 2023, the company was selected as a "Creating World-Class Specialized and New Enterprise" demonstration enterprise by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. It is a national high-tech enterprise, a member unit of the National Standardization Technical Committee for Wires and Cables, a national innovative pilot enterprise, a pilot unit for manufacturing informatization in Hunan Province, and a winner of the Hunan Provincial Governor's Quality Award. The company has outstanding R&D capabilities, has obtained CNAS laboratory accreditation certificates, and has a national enterprise technology center, Hunan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Special Cables, Hunan Provincial Expert Workstation, and Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory for Special Cable Preparation.
The company's "King Phoenix" trademark was first used in the 1960s and is one of the oldest brands in the domestic cable industry. It was registered with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce in October 1985. "King Phoenix" products have won national silver medals, and since 1986, the "King Phoenix" trademark has been recognized as a "Famous Trademark of Hunan Province" for 24 consecutive years. In April 2009, the "King Phoenix" trademark was recognized as a "China Famous Trademark" by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. In December 2020, it was awarded "Hunan Time-Honored Brand".
The company has passed the quality management system certification (GB/T19001), environmental management system certification (GB/T24001), occupational health management system certification (GB/T45001), and has operating qualification certificates such as equipment manufacturing unit registration certificate, mine cable safety mark certificate, China national mandatory product certification certificate, and China Classification Society factory approval certificate.
On June 24, 2021, the company was listed on the main board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and its stock code is 001208, marking a new chapter in the company's development.
